WEATHER IN TENERIFE
The weather in South Tenerife can vary, depending on the time of year you visit, although it has a reputation for being hot and sunny. In the Summer, it can reach the highs of 30C, in the Winter it can reach 20C - 25C. Of course the weather can not be guaranteed, but many people visit in the Winter because of the Islands notoriety of good weather. But then again, anywhere is better than Britain !!!

TRANSPORT
Getting around the island to visit some of the places listed above, can be cheap or expensive, depending on which way you prefer to travel. The best and cheapest way is obviously the public buses, which are exceptional. It is not very often that they are late or they are dirty ! There is a complete timetable available at the Bus Stations
(Estaciones de Guaguas) along with the prices. For an average guide, please click on the link below
TAXIS
Obviously, taxis are reasonably priced and plentiful, they are white with a green 'for hire' light on their roof.

A taxi from the Airport to Playa de las Americas, should cost you around 18 Euros, and around the town it should cost approximately 2-3 Euros.
CAR HIRE
There are many Car Hire outlets within the resort, one of the best for price and honesty is Autos Raymond in front of Parque Cattleya (next to Pizzeria Michelangelo).
Be sure to take your Full UK Driving Licence and Passport. However to hire a car, you must be over 21 or 25 years old and have had your licence for 3 years.
This is definitely the best way to travel around the Island and visit the more remote but idyllic locations.
